Buy with Prime (Beta) –
This new program extends Prime benefits to DTC stores beyond Amazon.com for US Prime users. Read more about it here.
Prime Day Confirmed for July –
Amazon confirmed that Prime Day 2022 will take place in July, although the specific date has yet to be formally announced.
New FBA Surcharge Fee –
Effective April 28th 2022, this new Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) 5% surcharge fee is to compensate for increased fuel and inflation costs.
Amazon Changes Inventory Caps –
Amazon has announced changes to their FC inventory limits to better manage fluctuations and the ever changing supply landscape. There is now a new extra-large category and an increase in pricing in the small and light category.
Inventory Health Page in Seller Central –
The Manage Inventory Health page gives sellers the ability to see all critical inventory and pricing information in a single view.
Sponsored Brands Ads Requirements –
The new creative requirements for Sponsored Brand campaigns requires sellers to include a custom image in addition to the brand logo. Existing Sponsored Brand campaigns will not be discontinued, though re-creating and cloning those campaigns to include a custom image is highly encouraged.
Omnichannel Metrics (Beta) –
This program is for Amazon US brands only and can be accessed directly through the DSP console. Through Omnichannel Metrics, an advertiser will be able to analyze the total impact of their ad campaigns by bringing together ad-attributed data from various touch points.
