BUSINESS MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Orca Pacific is a tech-enabled, full-service agency with an exclusive focus on Amazon. We are looking for a client-focused, professional, and trustworthy Business Manager.

This person needs to be a strategic thinker who demonstrates a high degree of ownership, a strong work ethic, and intellectual flexibility.  The Business Manager’s primary responsibility is to grow existing client accounts while maintaining outstanding relationships with both the client and Amazon.  This person must completely own client account relationships, effectively prioritize, and bring expertise around working with Amazon.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage existing client relationships
  • Maintain an excellent relationship with clients and Amazon
  • Develop brand strategy and strategic priorities on Amazon
  • Advise clients on Amazon
  • Grow year-over-year revenue for clients
  • Conduct analysis and sales/inventory forecasting
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Plan and project manage promotional activities
  • Lead account managers to deliver best-in class service to clients
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients with Amazon
  • Onboard new vendors with Amazon
  • Jump in on day-to-day operations as needed
  • Occasional travel required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Amazon retail experience
  • Successful track record of managing client/vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to present to and earn the trust of executives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Demonstrated strong negotiating skills
