Advertising Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Orca Pacific is a full-service digital agency, with an exclusive focus on brands that sell and advertise on Amazon. We are looking for an Advertising Manager who demonstrates a high degree of ownership, strong work ethic, digital marketing capabilities, and openness to new ideas and practices.

The Advertising Manager’s primary responsibility is to work with a set of clients to create, manage, optimize, and report on marketing campaigns by utilizing Amazon Sponsored Ads and the Amazon Demand Side Platform. In this role, you’ll work directly with a variety of companies across product categories and play a major role in driving sales and enhancing brand awareness on Amazon. You will live at the leading edge of eCommerce marketing and witness the evolution of attributable advertising.

DUTIES

  • Own advertising performance for an assigned set of clients
  • Build and report on marketing campaigns that deliver positive ROAS to meet client goals
  • Collaborate across the Business, Account, and Advertising teams to maximize performance for the client’s Amazon business
  • Frequent and professional client interaction via email, phone, and in-person
  • Strategic thinking, flawless execution, and insightful data analysis to identify areas of opportunity and deliver sales-driving initiatives

SKILLS

  • 2+ years’ experience in B2B or B2C digital advertising, with an emphasis on paid search
  • Agency experience where a familiarity with programmatic display advertising was learned is a plus
  • A strong and refined client-service mindset
  • Sound decision making and proactive initiative with the ability to set and achieve goals
  • Excellent attention to detail and accomplished verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to succeed in a challenging, fast-paced, and dynamic digital environment
  • Cross-collaborative to understand and implement team-oriented initiatives and goals
  • Analytical and strategic capabilities
  • Budget management and forecasting
  • Multitasking with the ability to organize projects and establish priorities
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Adept at learning new software programs and tools

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mature, composed, eloquent demeanor
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel
  • Amazon advertising accreditation at date of hire or commitment for accreditation within 30 days of hire
